Hayek wasn’t big on socialism or central planners. Economists always pitted him against Keynes – Hayek as the free marketeer v Keynes the central planner. It all a bit simplistic, as Keynes wasn’t averse to making a tidy profit on the free market. Both economists became the poster boys for opposing economic sides in the later half of the 20thC.

Up and out of Rue Victor Huge for about 10am and walked south toward Piscine Georges Vallerey. The pool was due to open at 11am. We had lots of time.

A small side project I’m working on to grow 1000 tress from seed and plant them over the next 5–10 years.
It sounds a lot but it’s not. You could hold 1000 acorns in a small carrier bag. Growing them takes up little space but bringing them to a stage where they can be planted out will take a bit more room and some cooperation from local land owners.
